Digital accessibility
Digital accessibility is about making digital services, websites, and applications usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. This means that design, content, and technology are adapted so that, for example, people with visual impairments, reduced mobility, or cognitive challenges can navigate and interact without barriers.
Since 2019, digital accessibility is regulated by the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services (2018:1937), known as the DOS Act, which implements the EU's Web Accessibility Directive. The DOS Act includes public operations as well as private actors that conduct publicly funded operations in education, healthcare, and social services.
On June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) will come into effect within the EU. In Sweden, the directive is implemented through the law on the accessibility of certain products and services, which includes e-commerce and transport services.
Accessibility is not just a matter of inclusion and social responsibility. It improves the user experience for all customers and users. We are happy to help you move forward.

How we work
We can assist you by providing information about digital accessibility, conducting an accessibility audit of your website, creating an accessibility statement, and implementing necessary improvements to achieve compliance with legal requirements.
Web content accessability guidelines (WCAG)
Compliance with the accessibility directive is achieved by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). In short, this means that websites and applications should be:
Perceivable: Information and components should be presented in a way that can be perceived by all users.
Operable: The user interface and navigation should be usable and accessible.
UnderstandableInformation and management of the interface should be understandable.
Robust: Content should be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by various assistive tools and technologies.
